Braking is via a dual diagonal system with anti-lock braking, (ABS 5.3), diagonally split dual circuits, brake booster servo and electronic rear brake pressure proportioning, HP2 twin-piston four-pad front calipers and vented discs on all four corners. This car is capable of top speeds in excess of 170mph with 0-60mph in 5.1 seconds.
SCCA/Mini Stock Volkswagen Scirocco We will be using a 1986 Volkswagen Scirocco chassis, fully race prepared by R.A.C.E. Team, Inc. The SOHC 2.0 liter engine capable of producing from 130hp to 160hp. Transmission is a 5-speed manual with synchronized reverse gear . Drivetrain is front-wheel drive with a LS differential. The suspension is independent front and rear with coil over Intrax Springs and KYB Shocks, adjustable sway bars.
